Mas depois que eu estudei formas geométricas eu fui saber que isso era da classe dos poliedros e dentro da classe dos poliedros ele era um prisma de base triangular. Depois eu fui saber que as características de prisma são: ter duas bases e todas as faces laterais ser quadriláteros."

As colunas existentes nas construções foram criadas observando-se os troncos de árvores, observe que objetos que transportam líquidos têm a forma cilíndrica, como mangueiras, borracha de soro, canos, etc. muito provavelmente inspiradas nas veias que transportam nosso sangue.&lt;br /&gt;Enfim, as formas são criações humanas, inspiradas nas existentes na natureza e seu estudo é de extrema importância por ser de relevância social. Estão presentes nas mais diversas profissões. Já pensou em um dentista que não se preocupa com a forma dos dentes do paciente? Provavelmente será um grande problema para aquela arcada dentária.&lt;br /&gt;Diante dessa importância, nós precisamos conhecê-las melhor para melhor utilizá-las. Pensando nisso, desenvolvemos nas aulas de matemática o Projeto Descobrindo Formas com o objetivo de promover a observação, a descrição, a representação e classificação de poliedros e corpos redondos com o intuito de permitir que os alunos construam idéias mais completas sobre as figuras geométricas e suas propriedades.&lt;br /&gt;O desenvolvimento do projeto ocorreu durante os meses de maio e junho. Os alunos estiveram envolvidos com atividades referentes a esse conteúdo que resultaram em textos, por eles produzidos funcionando como uma espécie de memorial; e de maquetes, representando importantes construções de nosso município, seja pela forma, seja pela utilidade para a população. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;Todo o resultado desse trabalho está aqui publicado e queremos A construção da caixa principal da CAERD (Companhia de Águas e Esgotos de Rondônia) foi responsabilidade da Fundação SESP.&lt;br /&gt;A capacidade da caixa d’água principal é de aproximadamente 230.000 litros. A altura do chão até o topo da caixa é de 18 metros, sendo que só a caixa tem 4 metros de altura.&lt;br /&gt;Localizada em uma área de 6100 m2, na Rua Nova Brasília, nº 2708, no centro da cidade, a caixa principal da CAERD tem forma cilíndrica sendo sustentada por pilares em forma de prisma. font-family: verdana;font-family:arial;" align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(102, 102, 102);font-size:100%;" &gt;Antes eu ainda não sabia direito o que era formas geométricas, poliedros, corpos redondos, figuras espaciais, mas com esse projeto eu fui aprendendo o que não sabia e mais um pouco.&lt;br /&gt;Eu tive muitas dificuldades no começo, mas depois de um tempo eu fui entendendo mais e esse projeto foi ficando fácil para mim.&lt;br /&gt;Eu vi que as formas geométricas estão em todos os lugares: o celular, o lápis, a porta, os prédios, as casas, etc.&lt;br /&gt;Antes eu achava que isso era um telhado de casa.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;p  style="font-weight: bold; font-weight: bold;font-size:100%;" &gt;Mas depois que eu estudei formas geométricas eu fui saber que isso era da classe dos poliedros e dentro da classe dos poliedros ele era um prisma de base triangular. Depois eu fui saber que as características de prisma são: ter duas bases e todas as faces laterais ser quadriláteros. Ela organizou vários trabalhos em cima desse assunto e, quando corrigia-os, explicava cada questão e sempre aparecia várias dúvidas. É porque no prisma todas as faces laterais são quadriláteros e ele têm duas bases iguais. E as pirâmides elas só tem uma base, todas as arestas se encontram em um único vértice e todas as faces laterais da pirâmide são triângulos.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div  style="font-weight: bold;font-family:verdana;" align="justify"&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(102, 102, 102);"&gt;Minha irmã Sandrely fez uma pergunta e disse assim:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div  style="font-weight: bold;font-family:verdana;" align="justify"&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(102, 102, 102);"&gt;-Professora, mas se um cartaz está pregado na parede ele não é plano ou é plano?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div  style="font-weight: bold;font-family:verdana;" align="justify"&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(102, 102, 102);"&gt;A professora disse que mesmo se ele ficar pregado na parede, no teto ou apoiado na mesa ele continua plano. E depois não fiquei com tanta dúvida de definir as figuras.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div  style="font-weight: bold;font-family:verdana;" align="justify"&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(102, 102, 102);"&gt;Eu aprendi também que as figuras espaciais tem três dimensões: altura, comprimento e largura. Outra coisa que aprendi foi diferenciar figura plana da espacial. Também aprendemos a ver os vértices, as faces e as arestas das figuras. Na maioria das figuras espaciais cada vértice é o encontro de 3 arestas.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div  style="font-weight: bold;font-family:verdana;" align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(102, 102, 102);"&gt;&lt;em&gt;Cada vértice é um ponto e que cada aresta é um segmento de reta e o encontro de duas faces, que cada face é uma região plana.&lt;/em&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div  style="font-weight: bold;font-family:verdana;" align="justify"&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(102, 102, 102);"&gt;Nós vimos prismas, pirâmides, corpos redondos e observamos suas semelhanças e diferenças de uma figura e outra. Aprendemos a fazer o esqueleto de uma figura e também montamos um molde de uma figura espacial. Eu fiz o dodecaedro.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div  style="font-weight: bold;font-family:verdana;" align="justify"&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(102, 102, 102);"&gt;A professora levou a gente no laboratório de informática para a gente fazer uma atividade sobre geometria. Nesse tempo nós fizemos trabalhos, provas, fomos até para o laboratório de informática.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div  style="font-weight: bold;font-family:verdana;" align="justify"&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(102, 102, 102);"&gt;Adorei o dia em que um engenheiro civil chamado Douglas explicou para nós a importância das figuras geométricas para a profissão dele e construi uma casinha de papelão.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div  style="font-weight: bold;font-family:verdana;" align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(102, 102, 102);"&gt;Até hoje eu estou estudando essas figuras e aprendi a fazer as pirâmides muito mais fácil. O que são arestas? Corpos redondos? Faces? Vértices?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div  style="font-weight: bold;font-family:verdana;" align="justify"&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(102, 102, 102);"&gt;Cada coisa a professora explicava. Cada tarefa mais perguntas surgiam e assim, todos entedemos a matéria.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div  style="font-weight: bold;font-family:verdana;" align="justify"&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(102, 102, 102);"&gt;Na vida da gente vamos ver e conviver com os sólidos geométricos. Toda essa matéria vai ser muito útil para a nossa vida. A curiosidade é uma característica humana. Ainda bem, pois é ela que motiva e leva à investigação, à descoberta, ao desenvolvimento! Na busca das respostas, ele aprendeu e evoluiu.&lt;br /&gt;A preocupação com as formas faz parte desta evolução. Hoje, encontramos ao nosso redor formas para todos os gostos. Basta olharmos ao redor para depararmos com inúmeras delas. Algumas, obras da natureza; outras, da criação humana. A natureza é sábia na escolha das formas, e o homem, desde há muito tempo, observa e estuda essas formas para aproveitá-las e adaptá-las a sua conveniência. Há quem prefira as formas arredondadas, como as das nuvens, e há quem goste mais das formas retilíneas, como as de algumas rochas.&lt;br /&gt;Mas as formas não existem só para serem admiradas. Os homens as utilizam para construir objetos, moradia, túneis, roupas, embalagens, enfim, basta você olhar ao redor para encontrar inúmeras formas criadas pelo homem para melhorar sua vida.&lt;br /&gt;As vasilhas são criações humanas que evoluíram a partir de formas presentes na natureza, como o coco, por exemplo. Observando a funcionalidade das patas de algumas aves, o homem criou o remo e os famosos “pés-de-pato”. Observando os pássaros, o homem sonhou voar. O estudo das formas foi de grande importância para que este sonho se concretizasse.&lt;br /&gt;Imitando a natureza, as colunas sustentam grandes construções, assim como os troncos das árvores sustentam suas copas.&lt;br /&gt;Um objeto possui várias características, como cor, tamanho e textura. Mas talvez a mais importante seja sua forma.&lt;br /&gt;Cada forma possui particularidades ou características que a identificam e a relacionam com determinadas funções, tanto estéticas quanto práticas. Um volante de automóvel não é circular por acaso, mas sim para cumprir melhor sua função. Da mesma forma, não é comum bebermos água em recipientes com bordas quadradas, nem empilharmos embalagens esféricas.&lt;br /&gt;Quando uma indústria cria um novo produto ou embalagem, procura unir beleza, funcionalidade e baixo custo. A escolha e a combinação de formas são importantes para se chegar a um bom resultado.
